Terms and Conditions

Receipt of your audio or text files, or attendance at your meeting is confirmation that you have accepted our terms and conditions:

In the event of the client (hereafter referred to as ‘you’) cancelling an assignment after work has started, you will be charged for any work completed up to that time.

Payment for the month’s work is strictly by the 14th of the next month (or as agreed otherwise) by BACS.

Although Underline Transcription will have proof-read the work, you are responsible for final proofreading. Any errors or omissions brought to our attention within 48 hours of receipt will be amended free of charge. Any other additions or amendments made by you may be charged.

Underline Transcription cannot be held liable for damage to any media supplied by you either in our possession or in transit.

Copies of your files will be kept for a period of one month only, it is therefore suggested that you make a back-up copy of any documents you may require.

Any work returned by post will be via Royal Mail recorded delivery, with costs invoiced to you. You are advised to use a similar method of postage for any documents sent to Underline Transcription.

Underline Transcription is not responsible for the end use of any document produced or edited by us, nor are we responsible for the content of any document supplied. You are solely responsible for abiding by copyright laws. We reserve the right to reject any work which contains material we consider to be illegal, immoral or offensive.​​
